Setting Up Jira Integration
Connecting Zyro to your Jira workspace is straightforward and opens up powerful automation capabilities for your testing workflow.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have: - Admin access to your Jira workspace - A Zyro Pro or Enterprise account - API access enabled in Jira
Step 1: Generate API Credentials
- Log into your Jira admin panel
- Navigate to Settings > Apps > OAuth credentials
- Create a new OAuth 2.0 integration
- Copy the Client ID and Secret
Step 2: Connect in Zyro
- Go to Settings > Integrations in Zyro
- Click "Add Jira Connection"
- Paste your OAuth credentials
- Authorize the connection
Step 3: Configure Sync Settings
Choose which projects and issue types should trigger automatic test generation:
- User Stories - Generate functional test cases
- Bug Reports - Create regression tests
- Epics - Generate test suites
